Before my BPD hit, I was always the person people confided in. I was the one who was cheering people on and building them up. And I dealt with my own problems by myself and I never confided in people. And then through my illness I discovered that it was okay to confide in others and show them my weakness. And that the input from other people, and talking to them could actually help me.
